Today, we are honored to sit down with two extraordinary women who continue to champion the mission and impact of this historic organization.
First, we have Peggy Rhodes-White, DTM, Founder and CEO of the Ted Rhodes Foundation. As a GTAA Certified Golf Tournament Consultant and Planner, a Distinguished Toastmaster, and a proud member of the United States Golf Association's Eagle Club, Peggy has spent decades preserving and promoting the legacy of her father, pioneering African American golfer Ted Rhodes.
Joining her is her granddaughter, Tiffany N. White, M.Ed., DTM, who serves as the Foundation’s President and Secretary. Also a GTAA Certified Golf Tournament Consultant and Planner, Tiffany brings a dynamic blend of leadership, career development expertise, and deep-rooted family pride to the Foundation’s work—ensuring that Ted Rhodes’ contributions to golf and civil rights are never forgotten.
Together, Peggy and Tiffany represent three generations of passion, purpose, and progress.

Interview with Pete McDaniel
Pete McDaniel is an acclaimed freelance writer and best-selling author whose words have left an indelible mark on the game of golf and its history. A proud North Carolinian, McDaniel launched his journalism career in 1974 and went on to co-author two best-sellers with the late Earl Woods and Tiger Woods, including Training a Tiger and How I Play Golf. He is also the author of the groundbreaking Uneven Lies: The Heroic Story of African-Americans in Golf, a critically acclaimed work that shed long-overdue light on the struggles and triumphs of Black golfers. From 1993 to 2009, McDaniel served as a senior writer for Golf Digest and Golf World, where he collaborated extensively with Tiger Woods on golf instruction and feature articles, further cementing his role as one of the sport’s most trusted voices and historians.
